Smocked and Embroidered Pink Batiste Yoke Style Dress

This special dress is on its way to Malaysia today! The sleeves have embroidery as well as the sashes. The hem is finished with entredeux and matching lace. The sleeves have a casing so they can be opened up and ironed much more easily. Center front of hem has a shadow work bow with bullions. Even the sashes have bullions embroidered on them.

Little Boy’s Ringbearer Suits

I made these recently in Linen. To make the collar stronger and more durable, I pieced all the laves , then cut out the collar. Then entredeux and gathered lace was added to the edge. The matching narrower lace was used on the sleeves and a matching insertion was mixed in with the others. Beautiful pearl buttons finished this suit off beautifully. Can’t wait to see the wedding pictures.
