Swiss Cotton Flannel smocked daydress Size 24m

This is one of my favorite patterns. It is by Children’s Corner. This dress is made of swiss cotton flannel in mint green. Collar, sleeves and front bands have entredeux and tatting. This fabric is expensive, but has a wonderful feel.

Temily ready to smock tops and pants

The temily pattern is from Australian Smocking and Embroidery magazine. After they are smocked, the running stitches around the sleeves, hem and the piping add so much detail. These were size 24 m. Pants made of featherwale corduroy.

Ready to Smock JohnJohn and Two Girl’s Blouses

I used maggies classic john john pattern, making it a little slimmer on the sides. For the blouses, I used size 3 and 4 in majas heirloom Jordan pattern, eliminating the lower shaping for pants. Emerald microcheck was used for johnjohn and Imperial broadcloth for the tops.

Red corduroy boy’s outfits ready to smock

I used the little lambs pattern for the 3-6 m romper. The grandma had already smocked the insert for the john john and now just has to smock the romper.
