Birthday Cards

Had lots of new stamps I hadn’t used, so I made a variety of always needed birthday cards.I used the Aviary set by Stampin-up. I will warn you, it is very hard to get the birds just right in the cages and the cages on the stand. I have done this set before where I embossed the cages in silver and that looks really nice, too. I have two stamps that go together. One says – A little bird told me, and the other says   It’s your birthday. I have just gotten a 150 paper pad from HSN by Martha Stewart. It has a solid on the reverse of each paper. The paper is a good weight for making a matching envelope, too. I also used some Penny Black stamps(hedgehogs, snail) and the bicycle with the buttons from the Every Day Button Bits set by Paper-trey. It was too hot this weekend to do much else.

Lilly Pulitzer Bridal Luncheon Pictures Tripp Island , SC

Here are pictures from the luncheon featuring the tablerunners, napkin rings and napkins I made. I also made gift bags. Margo Barry was the hostess and she also had special glasses made to match. The place cards were done to match as well.  Apparently, a number of people thought the napkin rings made nice bracelets so I will be making some replacements.

Ready to Smock Twin Christening Gowns

These white christening gowns will be smocked with ecru thread and pearls.  The laces are so pretty and the pintucks add a bit to the skirt. Dresses are roughly 27″ long. There is fine white piping under the neck bias.
